Xwabaxwa Campsite is a tranquil and very private camping area located along the Mbudi River within the Khwai Concession, just outside the Moremi Game Reserve. The site offers 15 spacious stands, each featuring a braai area and a water tap. Communal rustic ablution facilities with showers and toilets are available, providing a comfortable yet authentic wilderness camping experience.

The campsite is managed by Squamater Safaris, a local mobile tour operator based in Maun. The owner, Paul, is very responsive and easy to reach via WhatsApp, making bookings and inquiries straightforward. This is my favorite camp in Khwai — perfect for those who want a secluded spot with fantastic nature and wildlife.
